I created Little Kookaburra Creative to support children, families and educators as they grow strong, confident readers and writers.

In the classroom, I saw the same thing repeatedly happen. When a child connected with the right story, their confidence grew, their curiosity sparked and reading became something they looked forward to rather than avoided. Those moments are the heart of Little Kookaburra Creative.

Little Kookaburra Creative started with one simple idea. To create stories and resources that feel playful, purposeful and truly enjoyable for children, while supporting the adults guiding their learning.

As a primary school teacher, I have worked with children who have very different reading abilities and styles. Many parents want to include meaningful reading moments, and look for new ideas that fit into their day, not add to it. If this is you, you're in the right place!
